Workshop, September 2013
Offered collaboratively through Open Learning and Educational Support (OpenEd) and the Physical Science and Engineering Education Research centre (PSEER), this intensive workshop provided a forum for faculty members and instructors from all disciplines to explore their personal interests in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and the possibilities for initiating a SoTL project during the 2013/14 academic year.
Intended outcomes included:
- Exploring the scholarship of teaching and learning as it related to your own teaching practice;
- Developing an awareness of the ethical considerations and procedures related to SoTL; and
- Creating a central research question and a plan for moving forward.
