Hello Scotty Loeb, my audience of one.
It was a pleasant surprise (OK, just mostly surprising) to log into WordPress (the magic behind this web-page) and see that I had an incoming link from another blog. Since I provide no compelling reasons for people to make this any kind of a destination on the web, and because I’m a closet internet megalomaniac (yes, I Google Gavan often), it was a heart-warming moment.
Now this has happened before, but I’m usually the target of some kind of blog spam (see here, for example, but for the love of god don’t click any of the links). To find out that a living, breathing human made a link made my day.
And for that, Scotty Loeb, I salute you (and link back).

About me
I am an education researcher and practitioner, with a focus on higher education and the environment. I consider myself, above all, a naturalist. I'm the pack-mate of two border terriers. I live within the Speed River Watershed in Guelph, Ontario. I enjoy photography. I lead nature tours across North America. I teach courses on Natural History. I likely spend too much time on the Internet.
Oh, and the opinions expressed here are wholly my own.
